Downtown Village Center

Public Input Process
Gale Communities, Inc. has a proven track record in designing and constructing mixed-use developments while garnering community involvement and support.

Five public meetings have been conducted to gather community opinion and provide updates. From the initial data and thoughts provided by the community, Gale put together three transportation concepts that would address the issue of traffic flow into the downtown development. The transportation concept known as "Gladstone Parkway" was deemed as the favorite of the three plans and the most viable for addressing the needs of the development and surrounding areas. By gathering more information from the public, in particular the residents of Hamilton Heights subdivision where the parkway is proposed, Gale was able to finess the concept with more detail.

The final proposal was presented on March 7, 2006. If you were unable to attend, you may view the presentation online. Please be informed this is a large file and may take some time to load. If you have difficulties viewing the file, you may view a copy at City Hall during normal business hours.
